How we verify property tax information
PropertyTaxCalendar is a free, independent county directory operated by MCKE Enterprises Worldwide LLC. We’re building a source-cited guide to property tax payments, due dates, penalties, appeals and exemptions.
Every tax fact needs a source
We publish a tax fact only with its value, an official source link, a short supporting quotation and the date it was verified. Sources include county tax offices, state revenue departments, statutes and county-authorized payment services. A commercial payment domain must be explicitly approved as an official vendor.
Two kinds of dates
An “announced” date is a date the county published for that tax cycle. A “statutory” date comes from a cited statute or ordinance. We never roll last year’s due date forward. If a date is unknown, it stays unpublished. Calendar downloads and email reminders include only announced dates.
Keeping information current
Our daily pipeline checks source pages for changes and broken links. A change is queued for review; it does not automatically rewrite a tax fact. Invalid records block the site build. Facts last checked more than 400 days ago are labeled “Re-verifying.”
The county finder
The directory uses Census Bureau county population estimates, Vintage 2025. ZIP lookup uses 2020 Census ZIP Code Tabulation Areas (ZCTAs); these are approximations and do not cover every postal ZIP. City lookup uses 2020 Census places. Connecticut uses the Census Bureau’s 2022 planning-region and town relationships. Every intersecting county is retained. These lookups help you find a county; they do not identify the taxing authority for a particular parcel.

Corrections
Send the county name, the detail that needs correcting and an official source link to hello@propertytaxcalendar.com. Do not send account numbers or payment information.
We are not a government agency or your tax adviser. Confirm payment instructions, amounts and dates with your county.
